August 2, 2007 - Evander Holyfield will participate in the next edition of the "WBA - KO drugs" Festival on August 16th in Panama City when he engages in an exhibition fight against WBA Executive Vice-President Gilberto Jesus Mendoza, aiming to raise funds for two charity institutions. Holyfield and Mendoza would be exchanging punches that will serve to collect funds for both C.R.E.A., Centro de Rehabilitacion Contra las Drogas of Panama and the Holyfield Foundation.
"I'm glad to have a great champion like Evander participating in this event. It will not only be an honor for the event itself but also a great attraction that will help fighting against drugs and the needy children, Mendoza said.
